The study analyzed changes in the Yangtze River Estuary over the past 15 years due to construction projects. Results show that major projects have helped maintain the river's stability. Erosion and deposition in the estuary have slowed down since 2007, but runoff still affects these processes. Future estuary regulation should consider the southeast direction and the combined impact of different projects.
