Sperm selection techniques boost fertility, revolutionizing family planning.
The researchers looked at how two methods of selecting sperm affect its DNA integrity and other factors. They tested 30 semen samples using swim-up and Pure Sperm techniques. After selection, sperm density decreased, but viability, vitality, and sperm movement improved. The number of sperm with intact DNA significantly increased after selection, with no big difference between the two methods. In conclusion, both methods increased sperm health and DNA integrity.
