The study looked at how cucumber seeds germinate under salty conditions. They found that salt stress reduces seed germination, but soaking the seeds in ABA and GA_(3) can help them grow better. ABA and GA_(3) treatments at specific concentrations can lessen the negative effects of salt on seed germination. Seeds treated with ABA and GA_(3) showed higher enzyme activity compared to seeds treated only with salt.
