The researchers used wet air oxidation to treat organic wastewater from a company in Jiangsu Province. By heating the wastewater to 250℃, increasing the pressure to 3.5 MPa, and adding diluted solution, they achieved a 56% reduction in COD levels. This process also improved the wastewater's biochemical nature, making it easier to treat biologically.
