Forest landscape in Fujian Province becoming more diverse and balanced over time.
The study looked at the diversity, dominance, and evenness of forest landscapes in Fujian Province. Between 1987 and 1997, the diversity and evenness of the forests increased, while dominance decreased. The trend showed that diversity and evenness increased from southeast to northwest, while dominance decreased in the same direction.
