The article analyzes the innovation capability of the textile industry by looking at patents. It found that textile technology and finishing patents are growing faster than spinning patents. Foreign applicants contribute a significant portion of textile patents in the country. However, the proportion of textile invention patents is higher than other types of patents, indicating a positive trend in the industry. Domestic textile invention patents are increasing compared to total patents, showing progress in textile technology within the country.
