Northern Tibet experiences significant increase in surface humidity due to climate change.
The study looked at how the climate in Northern Tibet changed from 1961 to 2006. They found that the surface humidity increased over this time period, especially in spring and summer. The researchers also discovered that the climate was wetter and warmer in the early 1990s compared to the colder and drier conditions in the late 1960s to mid-1980s. The surface humidity was most affected by changes in precipitation, relative humidity, and daily temperature range.
