The article introduces a method for creating a feature model from a use case model in software design. Instead of using traditional methods like orthogonalization, this new approach is based on axiomatic design. By analyzing the functions in the use case model, the method identifies the relationships between functions to create the feature model. The researchers demonstrate this method using the Library Management Information System (MIS).
