New method creates diverse aryl compounds with high yields.
Aryl diazonium salts reacted with formaldoxime and acetaldoxime at room temperature to produce various compounds like p-acetylbenzaldehyde, p-acetaminobenzaldehyde, p-Bromoacetophenone, p-nitroacetophenone, o-chlorobenzonitrile, and 2,4-dinitrobenzonitrile. Additionally, the reaction of p-acetaminobenzaldehyde with aminothiourea resulted in the formation of TB I with a high yield and melting point of 223-224℃.
