Thick-walled steel pipe piles were successfully used instead of PHC pipe piles in engineering designs. The study showed that the thick-walled steel pipe piles had the same carrying capacity and strength as PHC pipe piles. The hydrostatic load test also proved the effectiveness of using thick-walled steel pipe piles. This approach solved engineering problems and can be a useful reference for similar projects.
