The Jiangjinshan Bridge was designed with a mix of T-girder and continuous girder bridges, using prestressed concrete and variable cross-section box girders. The piers are round-end, with some hollow and some solid, resting on pile foundations. The design was analyzed using software to ensure it met safety and performance requirements. The results showed that the bridge can handle trains well, with good dynamic performance and passenger comfort.
