Soil testing reveals key to maximizing maize production in Hetian County.
The research aimed to understand how soil testing and formulated fertilization can improve maize production in Hetian County. By analyzing soil nutrient correction coefficients in different yield fields, the study found that as soil nutrient levels increased, the correction coefficient decreased. This relationship was expressed through specific functions for nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. These findings provide valuable insights for optimizing fertilizer use in maize cultivation in Hetian County.
