The northeast economic region includes three provinces in Northeast China and five cities in Inner Mongolia. Different areas in this region have different types of industries, but they all focus on using natural resources. Some areas are getting closer in terms of development, while others are moving further apart. To help the region grow and prosper, a new approach to economic development is needed, focusing on core industries, surrounding areas, and gradual progress. This will help different parts of the region work together and improve the old industrial base of Northeast China.
