Changing Climate Patterns in Central China: More Rain, Less Spring, Alarming Shifts.
The study analyzed 45 years of precipitation data in central China. Overall, annual precipitation is increasing slightly, but not significantly. The number of rainy days each year is also rising, with more moderate and heavy rain events. Spring and autumn are getting drier, while summer and winter are getting wetter. The patterns of precipitation vary by season and year, with some abrupt changes noted in the past few decades.
