The article presents a method called the rainfall deduction method to estimate non-point source pollution in watersheds. This method uses rainfall and water quality data to predict pollution levels without needing additional monitoring data. Compared to other methods, the rainfall deduction method is simpler and provides reasonable results. This approach is particularly useful in areas like China where there is a lack of non-point source pollution monitoring data.
