A new hybrid late rice called "Xiannong 10" was created by crossing two different rice plants. It has a high and stable yield, good plant structure, and can grow well in various conditions. In tests, it produced an average of 7026.9kg of rice per hectare, outperforming another popular variety. This new rice is recommended for planting in certain regions of China for late rice cultivation.
