The article discusses how to improve the automation and information management of distribution systems by integrating various sources of information. The researchers propose using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to facilitate the exchange of information between different systems. By implementing a service-oriented architecture (SOA) based on ESB, existing power system applications can be integrated and new systems can be easily added with dynamic scalability.
