Activated Coke Technology Reduces SO2 Emissions by Over 600 Tons Annually
Activated coke desulphurization technology was used to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions from a sulfuric acid plant. By making improvements to the desulphurization plant, the sulfur dioxide concentration in the tail gas was reduced to less than 300 mg/m3. This led to a significant decrease in sulfur dioxide emissions, benefiting the environment.
