The study looked at the safety of drinking water in China in 2011. They checked water quality in different types of water supply units and found that most treated water and tap water were safe. However, water from school-owned supplies had a lower pass rate. The study suggests that more attention is needed to ensure safe drinking water in China, especially in self-built water supply units and schools.
