Revolutionizing Organic Fertilizers: Faster, Safer, and More Nutrient-Rich Compost!
The study tested different ways to speed up the composting process of fresh cow dung. They used a chemical promoter and microorganism preparations to see how they affected the compost. Results showed that adding both the chemical and microorganism promoters helped the compost ferment faster. The total nitrogen in the compost increased after fermentation. The levels of phosphorus and potassium also increased, with the highest increase in compost treated with both promoters. However, adding the chemical promoter decreased the levels of available copper and zinc in the compost.
