The article discusses the successful completion of a 2000m core drilling project, showcasing advancements in technology and equipment. The project achieved a termination depth of 2212.80m with high borehole quality, an average drilling efficiency of 1.65m/h, and a core recovery rate of 98.6%. Notably, three depth records in drilling and casing were set in China during this project. The experience gained from this endeavor has contributed to improving large project operations, fostering industry-university-research collaborations, and demonstrating innovative drilling technologies.
