New loss-control fertilizer boosts summer maize yield by up to 20%!
A new type of loss-control compound fertilizer was tested on summer maize to see how well it worked. The researchers found that this fertilizer increased maize yield by 10.5% to 20.5% compared to regular compound fertilizer, and by 0.7% to 9.8% compared to BB fertilizer. The fertilizer also had high efficiency in using nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, with utilization rates of 27.4%, 40.1%, and 76.6% respectively. The recommended amount of this fertilizer for Suixi County was 300 kg of nitrogen, 100 kg of phosphorus, and 45 kg of potassium per hectare. Overall, the new loss-control fertilizer showed clear benefits in increasing yield and efficiency, making it a promising option for farmers to use.
