The study looked at how sandy weather in Shijiazhuang affects air pollution. They analyzed data from 2002 to 2006 and found that PM10 was the main pollutant during sandy weather. Pollution levels were higher on the day or day after sandy weather. Pollution sources were categorized into outside, local, and mixed types, with local pollution mainly influenced by cold fronts. PM10 levels increased with wind speed, but decreased with south winds. North winds helped pollutants accumulate.
