A combination of a wetland and pond was used to clean polluted water from fish ponds and farms. The wetland system effectively removed pollutants like COD, TN, and TP from the water. The water quality met environmental standards, and the removal rates increased with higher temperatures. The wetland was especially good at removing TP. This system is cost-effective, easy to use, and has potential for reducing pollution in lakes.
