A/O process reduces organic wastewater pollution by over 95%!
The researchers found that treating organic wastewater with a process called A/O/O can significantly reduce the concentration of pollutants. By studying the effects of different factors like wastewater concentration and stay time, they discovered that this method can remove over 95% of pollutants, meeting wastewater discharge standards. Flocculation alone was not very effective in treating organic wastewater, but the A/O/O process proved to be highly efficient in reducing COD levels to less than 150mg/L.
