The study looked at how using a mix of mineral organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer affects maize growth in an oasis area. They found that using mineral organic fertilizer boosted maize biomass and grain yield significantly. When combining mineral organic fertilizer with 750 kg/ha of chemical fertilizer, the maize yield increased by 7.61% compared to using only chemical fertilizer. The contribution rate of fertilizer was also higher with the combined approach. This means that by reducing the amount of chemical fertilizer used by 15% and adding mineral organic fertilizer, maize yield can still be maintained at a high level.
