The article analyzes animal manure pollution in Hebei Province, focusing on different breeding patterns. Intensive farming contributes significantly to manure production, with Langfang and Shijiazhuang having the highest ratios. Intensive systems are a major source of land pollution risk and manure load to cropland. On average, Hebei has 114.1 tons of manure per hectare, with 0.56 tons of nitrogen and 0.17 tons of phosphorus per hectare.
