Optimal Salinity Levels Unveiled for Juvenile Clam Survival and Growth!
Juveniles of Lutraria sieboldii were studied to see how they handle different levels of salt in the water. The researchers found that these juveniles survive best in salt levels between 19.8 and 33.8, with the ideal range being 26.3 to 31.7. For growth, the best salt levels are between 21.9 and 33.7, with the peak range being 26.3 to 29.0. This study helps us understand the best conditions for these young Lutraria sieboldii to thrive and survive in their environment.
