The researchers studied how well Babylonia areolata can survive and grow in different levels of salt in the water. They wanted to find out the best salt levels for keeping these animals in fish farms. They tested different salt levels and found that the best salt level for survival was between 26.0 and 34.4, and for growth was between 26.0 and 31.6. If the salt level is too high or too low, the animals don't do as well.
