Organic Fertilizer Boosts Disease Resistance and Quality of Tobacco Crop
Applying organic fertilizer along with chemical fertilizer to tobacco plants can improve growth, disease resistance, and quality. Using well-rotted cow dung, sesame-seed cake, and soyabean milk with 64% organic-N can boost tobacco growth and enhance resistance to diseases like viruses and Alternaria alternata. This method also increases the quality and value of the tobacco leaves, with higher proportions of upper leaves, better sugar and nicotine ratios, and improved aroma quality. Overall, using organic fertilizer in combination with chemical fertilizer can lead to healthier, higher-quality tobacco plants with increased output value.
