Farmers in China have different attitudes and levels of participation in political activities within their communities. The study examines how farmers engage in self-governance processes and suggests ways to improve their political participation. This includes providing better systems for farmers to participate, supporting rural economic growth, fostering a new political culture, and enhancing farmers' ability to express their interests.
