Dwarf bamboos show double peak photosynthesis, key to climate resilience.
The study looked at how five types of small bamboo plants change their photosynthesis throughout the day. They found that the plants had two peaks in their photosynthesis rates, with a drop in the middle of the day. Factors like sunlight, water levels, and leaf temperature affected how well the plants could make food. The tiny holes on the leaves also played a big role in how much food the plants could make. When these holes closed up, the plants couldn't make as much food.
