The study analyzed different techniques for mining thick coal seams using full-mechanized caving methods. Testing in a coal mine showed that these methods increased safety, reduced initial costs, and improved coal recovery rates. This approach led to higher mining efficiency and production rates, providing a solid basis for mining similar coal seams.
