National audit supervision is crucial for effective national governance. The legal system of audit supervision in China has weaknesses like lack of independence, unclear audit results, and underutilization of performance audits. By studying audit supervision laws in other countries, the current issues in China's system were identified. Improvements are needed to enhance the function and development of governmental auditing.
