The sedimentary facies of Chang 6 in Zhiluo Oilfield were studied using core observation, rock analysis, and logging data interpretation. The research found that the main reservoir sand bodies are underwater distributary channels and mouth bar sand bodies of a delta system. The spread of sand bodies is controlled by double source areas, with the main advantage in Chang 63 and 62 of the lower part of the Chang 6 reservoirs. This study is important for guiding future oil exploration in the area.
