A study looked at water supply projects in the Yangtze River Basin over the past 20 years. They analyzed how well these projects were working and found that the water supply capability has increased, especially in lifting and diverting water. The projects are now more spread out across the basin, with the upper reach having potential for more use. However, some areas still don't have enough water supply to meet demand, and there are risks and aging issues in some projects.
