The sedimentary characteristics of the second Member of Baigang Formation in the eastern segment of the North Steep Slope in Eastern Sag of Baise Basin indicate the development of fan delta and lake sedimentary facies. The researchers analyzed petrology, sedimentary structure, biological fossils, and seismic attributes to determine that fan deltas are mainly distributed in the northwest and northeastern areas of the study area.
