The study looked at how different types of fertilizers affect the amount of mini cucumbers grown without soil. Using chicken manure and compound fertilizer together led to the highest fruit yield, increasing by 25.3% and 21.3% compared to using compound fertilizer or nutrient solution alone. This treatment also reduced the nitrate content in the cucumbers. Using only chicken manure or biological-organic fertilizer resulted in the lowest yield, even though it was the best at reducing nitrate levels.
