New technology extracts sandbar data for improved Yellow River management.
The scientists used ArcGIS Engine to automatically extract isohyets of the sandbar at the Yellow River estuary. They analyzed the steps needed to do this and successfully applied it in the Yellow River estuary geographic information system.
