The Ming Dynasty tried to control Duzhangman in south Sichuan by replacing tribe chiefs with government officials, causing conflict. The Duzhangman people resisted this change, leading to a struggle with the Ming Dynasty. Ultimately, the Duzhangman people died out due to harsh suppression by the Ming Dynasty.
