Grasslands in Gansu Province were studied using remote sensing to understand their growth periods and natural conditions. Six types of grasslands were identified, including meadow steppe, typical steppe, and desert steppe. By analyzing factors like precipitation, temperature, and terrain, it was found that these factors play a significant role in determining the types of grasslands present in the region. The study showed that the proportion of precipitation and temperature, as well as the terrain, are the main factors influencing the distribution of different grassland types.
