Ancient Path to Shu Unveils Rich History and Cultural Relics.
The ancient path to Shu at the south of Changjiang River was an important land route connecting Jingchu mountains and West Sichuan Plain. It was used for military purposes during wars and as a communication lifeline during peaceful times. The path, built during the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, was still in use up to modern times. The National Route of 318 follows this ancient path. Various cultural relics along the route depict scenes of bustling activity with traders, messengers, soldiers, and tribes passing through.
