The study found that China's innovation efficiency is mainly driven by research funds, and foreign investment can significantly improve innovation efficiency. While overall human capital has little impact, individuals with post-secondary education can boost efficiency. Invention patents output efficiency is low, and market success levels are also lower. China's regional innovation does not show a scale effect.
