The research focused on improving the performance and lifespan of power batteries by addressing voltage imbalances in battery cells during charging and discharging. By analyzing the battery equalization charge circuit model, a new control strategy was developed to increase battery life cycle. The study tested this strategy on a 72V/120AH lead-acid battery charger and found it to be effective in balancing cell voltages and enhancing battery longevity.
