Coal direct liquefaction in Gansu Province shows promise for commercial production. By analyzing social and economic benefits, it was found that the region has abundant coal resources suitable for this process. Blending Dayou and Tianzhu coal can lead to higher oil yields. This suggests that developing coal direct liquefaction in Gansu Province is a viable option.
