Revolutionary Wastewater Treatment Breakthrough Removes 86% of Contaminants in 2 Hours
The researchers studied how to clean up emulsification wastewater using a method called wet air oxidation. They found that factors like temperature, oxygen pressure, and organic concentration affect how well the process works. By heating the wastewater to 220℃ and adding oxygen at 1.2MPa pressure, they removed 86% of the pollutants in just 2 hours. This shows that wet air oxidation can be a useful way to treat emulsification wastewater.
