The article presents a method for detecting welds in video images. The researchers used gray transformation to process the images, Canny operator to find edges, and Hough transform for line detection. This allowed them to locate weld grooves and joints accurately. The method is cost-effective, real-time, precise, and intelligent, as shown by experimental results.
