Uneven NPP distribution in agro-ecosystems linked to population density and technology.
The study looked at how plants grow in Shandong province and what affects their growth. They found that plant growth increased from 2000 to 2006. Some areas had more plant growth than others, with Zaozhuang having the most and Dongying the least. Rainfall was the biggest factor affecting plant growth, while things like plastic films, pesticides, and machinery also played a role. However, using more technology reduced the need for manual labor. Having a lot of people living in an area was not good for plant growth.
