Food traceability is crucial for ensuring food safety. A new concept called hazard traceability has been introduced to better understand food hazards. This study compared product traceability with hazard traceability and defined the principles and elements of hazard traceability. The goal is to help food regulators and producers establish systems to manage food safety effectively.
