This article compares the mechanical behavior of cable-stayed arch bridges and ordinary arch bridges. Using a 400m cable-stayed arch bridge as an example, the study analyzes how cables affect the static and dynamic characteristics of the bridge. The research shows that cable-stayed arch bridges have different vibration frequencies and modes compared to ordinary arch bridges.
